Let me tell you straight, you cannot be a successful business person if you don't have good business habits. Below I have listed a few habits that you should be doing if you wanted to be a successful business person!
1.) Are you committed to every business you have?
Opening a business is easy but maintaining its operation will take a lot of you time. Will you be available in creating marketing plans and promotional materials? Business without marketing plans is suicide. Once you start a business, put every attention to it. Don't let your employees manage it. Take note of this, you are the only person who has vision for its success so its only you who can make it
grow.
2.) Are you continuously searching for opportunities?
Business people don't just stick on 1 or 2 business. A business person always searches for more business opportunities. They are not mediocre. They don't want stable business but rather a growing one. Always search for new ideas to pursue.. A business person has a vision for numerous income streams for profits!
3.) Do you think positive about you business?
A business person don't pursue a business to which he/she doesn't feel positive about. Once you start a business, don't fill your mind with any negative thoughts. Problems may come your way but it will always have a solution. Business people don't think of failures, always success behind every problem.
4.) Do you share the business vision?
You can't survive on your own. You may be skillful at some point but it can't make you very successful. A business person shares a business vision, to someone else, to a possible business partner. If a single business person can earn $1000 a month, then 2 person can earn $2000 a month. Simple logic but its reality. You can earn more as long as you share same vision with someone else.
5.) Do you delegate tasks?
Normally, every business person only thinks of opportunities and its corresponding marketing campaigns. It will not be healthy if the business person will also do the action of implementation. He will be dead meat if he/she will put every burden unto their shoulders. In fact, employees purpose is to put every plan into action, right?
6.) Do you create a good public image?
People are very sympathetic. They support the business whom they like the owner. Whether you like it or not,if people like your attitude and way of doing business, they will support you. But if you look like a bad boy or a person who looks down and criticizes people, believe me, you will loose every customer you've got!
Start creating a good public image. Help support the community where you belong. Extend some help to those in need. Don't act as if what's the only thing important to you is your profits and earnings. Make the public see that you care.
Does this help? There are many more habits which I can tell you.

Good Business Habits
What You Think Is What You Can Become
A Business person thinks of business and new opportunities to pursue. Business people loves to takes risk just to succeed. Unlike an employee, they want stable jobs where their salary increases and all the decisions are made for them. Employees do not take risks that's why they don't build a business and pursue opportunities. They are the very opposite in nature.
Is it now clear to you? What you think is what you can become!
Business people think of business that's why they conduct business. A business person imagines huge earnings that is why they create multiple streams of income. Basically, they believe that success can be achieve by having a business, not a stable job! In Fact, it is believed that stable jobs can only create a stable life, not a successful life...
Please don't get me wrong. I am not against working or having a job. I am just trying to tell you that if you think of a business, then you can become a business person and if you think of a job then probably you will end up an employee. The lesson here is very simple. If you want to succeed, then think of success. Start looking for opportunities to pursue. There is no risk that can hinder you to succeed. Everything may not run smoothly but surely in the end you will succeed.

Deprivation is a Good Motivation
Can you think of one thing in your childhood days which you liked the most. Like a toy car, a barbie, additional allowance, ice cream etc... I'm quite sure that no matter how often you asked for it something new from your parents, they don't give it to you always or right away, right? There were always times that even when we howled, still they didn't give it to us. In that kind of scenario you do in business? Instead of crying, what are the other options we take just for those things to be given to us?
I remember that a lot of times I did clean my room to impress my mom. You know why, because I knew that if I impressed her, she would give me what I wanted. :-) To impress my dad? I did help him clean our garage and of course his car then he bought me a toy! The question is, what's your story? When you were a child, what did you cry for because you were deprived of it? I want you to think of anything you were deprived of. If you can't think about it, I guess you will have a hard time to relate to this article.
What am I telling you about deprivation if I can simply give you a success strategy? From my years as a coach, I realized that it is easy to think of a success strategy, but it is very hard to motivate ourselves to achieve it. This is the problem that most people have. We all have ideas in mind, but since we always question our capabilities and guts, we start thinking of failures.
The truth is, we have everything we need to succeed, we just don't have PROPER MOTIVATION!
The main reason I am talk to you about deprivation is that, whenever we are deprived of something, we do everything just to get it. You know what, if you are truly deprived of earning huge profit online, or very desperate to gain the website traffic you wanted, I believe you will do everything or anything just to achieve it. That is why I say that "Deprivation is a Good Motivation".
If today, you are not deprived of your success, I believe you will have a hard time to make big bucks!Deprivation makes you do things that you don't often do. It encourages you to take calculated risks. In short, it motivates you to Succeed!

Does Twitter Withold Opportunities From You?
Are you a huge fan of twitter? Twitter has captured the general public's attention. In an instant, it gained its market share being ranked in the 43rd spot of the most popular or visited sites online. As defined on the site, "Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users updates".
From the past months that I observed the twitter trend, there is a big question that I have thought about. So what's with twitter? Why do people spend so much time in following other people? Do they get any benefits from having additional followers everyday? Yes it allows twitter users to put links to their websites, but does it really provide them traffic?
If you spend 1 or 2 hours browsing twitter everyday, how much profit does it generates for your business? The answer is none. In fact, from the amount of time you devote using twitter, the more you may have missed opportunities. As you have heard from motivational speakers and coaches, don't ever spend money or time on those things that doesn't bring you any good. In twitter, lets, say you have 10000 followers. Do they really try to get updates from you? Did they spend sometime knowing you? Or did they just click the follow button and never returned to
your page again?
The Past is the past. What's done is done. You already have spent so many hours in twitter, what's next? The truth is, you don't really get popular in twitter. It is not a marketing strategy for promotions, it is an online trend. Why not instead of twitter, browse some websites that is somehow directly related to your website. Then analyze if the owner could be a possible business partner for you. Or why not interact on social community site because it will give more opportunity for you to be known personally.
From my years of existence online, I realized that if popularity is our concern, what we need to do is to simply visit forums and mingle with people. In some way or another, it also opens new opportunities for us. You decide for yourself, what would you choose, twitter or business opportunities?
Make use of your special time WISELY!

Plan In Advance
Why wait for problems to occur before you think of solutions? Is it possible to think of solutions without having a problem in hand? It is possible! I have tried it for so many times and I believe many have done it also. This I guess is what most business people do. Aside from the vision they have, they accompany it with corresponding backup plans just in case certain problem occurs.
I know at some point in your life you've done this. As simple as buying groceries. We always buy as many as we can so that we do not run out of stock, right? Why would we need to feel starvation before we buy food. This holds true in every aspects of our lives.
1.) For students, why would you wait the final week before the exams if you could review 2 - 3 weeks before?
2.) For business owners, why would you want to run out of stocks (products), if you could order in advance. Why would they not pursue opportunities before others pursue them?
3.) For the general public, why would we wait for sickness to come if we could take good care of ourselves?
4.) For car owners, why would they wait for accident if they can drive safely?
There are so many circumstances where we can plan in advance, not just in business. I strongly recommend that you plan in advance. If you have not done it fully before, you can start now.. In fact, why would you wait for problems to occur if you can start planning in advance starting today onwards, right?

Every Action Counts
All the efforts and actions that we do matter. There is no wasted action, it all contributes to a better you. Would you agree that even the most destructive action you made now and before also helps? It may sound a little weird but yes its true. Every action you take did offer some contributions for your betterment.
Of course, no doubt, every good thing you have done will bring good results for you. If you did study well in college, you may now have a good job and profession. If you planted love, then you may now be reaping gifts or good relationships. If you invested enough money and facilities for your business, then I guess you have been earning more than before. Our actions will always have a direct effect on our lives. Would you agree?
On the other hand, how about your failures and negative actions? You might be asking yourself what good will it do to you. Just for a moment, I want you to think of a certain action you did which seems to be worst for you! Have you burned a house? Sold a business? Embarrassed you love ones? Wrecked a car? Almost killed a person? or probably ruined your life? I'm quite sure I can't list all those possible worst experiences in this post. You are the one who only knows. But I want you to think again, what consequences did you face? I believe there will always be consequences for our negative actions. Was it bad?
From all those consequence you had, I am quite sure you've learned something. The more it gave you hurt, the more you've learned. This is what I want to tell you, Every Action Counts. I assure you that everything you do will have a good direct effect to make your future better.

Creating A "To Do" List
There will be no days without a task needed to be done. Whether we like it or not, everyday of our lives will be busy till the end. The question is, how to you manage your life? Are you organized enough to be able to do every tasks that needs to be done? The truth is, we are all capable of doing anything. The problem starts when we get confused and pressured because of not being organized.
I like most of the moms (mothers/wives) I have encountered. They all have a "to do" list especially those home based moms. I am not really sure if they love writing those tasks or simply they are organized people. On one of the houses I visited, the "to do" list is posted on the refrigerator, the other on their mirrors, on bulletin boards and on the doors. It made me admired them so much. That is the main reason why most houses looks a good place to stay. Mothers are good care takers and they always make sure that the house is clean and worth living.
If well organized woman will be doing business, no doubt everything will be smoothly running and growing.
But unfortunately, not all mothers do business, the husbands do it. No doubt most businesses don't run very smooth because men normally are not skilled in this matter. In reality, men don't like to do lists. the don't write on calendars, and the funny thing is that they don't plan at times.
I wrote this article to give every man an inspiration for success. Every success lies on a plan, an organized plan! How could we succeed if we don't have "to do" list everyday. Remember this carefully, every success don't rely on big decisions, normally it happens because simple things are done simultaneously. B-)
What's next? Write down you "to do" list now!

The Danger of Self Help Teachings
According to www.Answers.com, self help is defined as "The act or an instance of helping or improving oneself without assistance from others." In short, these are lessons, teachings, tips on how a person can develop themselves to be better by doing things on his own.
On a superficial level, there is nothing wrong with that though it is probably different from what school and our parents have taught us. As I remember my childhood , my parents always say that we can't survive on our own. We need other people to equipe us, change us and help us grow maturely. Even in school, teachers often said that once we graduated, we will be facing many different kinds of people who will play a huge
part in our future. I was trained that "We NEED Other People's Existence Badly".
A new age teaching is becoming more popular today, "Self Help". It's useful I must say but it should be balanced! Self help teachings train a person to be independent, not relying on other people, putting every efforts on his or her own. Yes, there is no one who can change us, just us! If we choose to change, then we could probably change. But you know what, most of the time, no matter how hard we try, still nothing changes.
Sometimes and most of the times, you will need someone who will accompany you to change. You can't do everything on your own. Let me give you some very important points you need to think about:
1.) You Need A Buddy
You personally will decide if you want to change and improve yourself. Although you decide, you still need a buddy or another person to back you up. Lets talk about time management. Have you ever struggled in attending meetings, family gatherings, friends outing on time? Many people struggle in managing their time. Some people will always be late no matter what. This is what I telling you about, you need a buddy! You need someone who will give you reminders. Someone who will push you to change.
Now before you choose a buddy, think first of those things you want to change and improve. If you want to be a better father, look for a father who is doing well with his family. If you want to be a good business person, look for successful business people. Don't ever look for a buddy who struggles like you. It will not be of good help!
2.) You Need A Mentor With Authority
In some cases I know, the buddy system may not work as planned. This is because there are people who do not really know how to listen. Some people do find a buddy who is a friend. However when their friend gives reminders, they don't bother to listen because they are just on the same level, right?
You could now choose a mentor with authority. Look for a person who you respect most. The person whom you listen to and ask for advice. It could be your parents, aunties, professors or a success coach. Don't ever forget that a mentor should be the one you respect most. By that, they would easily gain authority to remind you.

Try Doing New Things
Can I ask a question? Have you tried doing things that you don't often do? At first, I guess you will not recall any. You know why? It is not our nature to try new things. We are content that everything happens in a normal way. That's just the way we like it.
There is a much deeper explanation to that. It is not just as simple as we hesitate doing new things, but most of the time, it's about fear of doing new things! The truth is, we love to try but we have a fear of failures. Without even trying, we are very futuristic in our thinking. We think that probably we might not succeed on what we planned to do. Why can't we think positive? Why don't we just imagine that success is coming our way when we try new things, right? In reality we lot of opportunities because on not trying new things. In terms of our personal skills, the skill we have is the only thing we develop well in fact there are more things that we can excel on. In a business setting, we always neglect the fact that we can branch-out our businesses to other locations, or disregard the idea that we can try venturing on new opportunities.
We Stick To The Norm!
Did you not ever wonder why your life seems to be the same since before? Your income might not increase? Your skills did not develop over the years? Your business did not grow? You have not been promoted from years of working? You could ask a lot of questions in your life but end up with no answer. Let me tell you this straight, nothing has changed because you are doing the very same thing everyday. If you want to generate more profits on business, promote more. If you want to have salary bonus, pus out the extra mile. If you want to develop your skills, study new lessons. If you want to succeed, try doing new things!
Listen carefully, no one ever succeeded without taking risks!

Put In The Box What You're Thinking
It's fine that you don't know me well. As a brief introduction, I am a business and success coach that is hired internationally. You may be a fan of a favorite motivational speaker or a mentor, but let me tell you something that they don't say often, or probably have not told you up to now. Although simple, what you learn might just change the way your future will be shaped.
I know you have heard about this popular saying, "Think Outside of The Box". I conducted a some research regarding this idiomatic expression. According to wikipedia, "Thinking outside the box" is to think differently, unconventionally or from a new perspective. This phrase often refers to novel, creative and smart thinking. I believe that everyone knows this expression. It's taught from an early age in school. In a nut shell this expression means "Be Creative". In every way possible, think of ideas which people don't normally think of, right? Thinking outside the box is good, but if it is not be balanced, every creative idea will be worthless.
I remember my younger years when I was just about to start my own business. "Think outside the box" was the first statement I heard from my parents. You know what happened, i spent most of my time thinking, thinking and thinking alone. The funny thing is that after I finished in setting up my very first offline business, the next thing I did is again to think, think and think of new creative ideas. Creative ideas overpopulated me! I got confused and those ideas I thought as opportunities made me think twice since I was thinking so much. Instead of committing most of my time to my existing business, I was busy planning on some other opportunities.
Now, opportunities are good. Thinking of creative ideas is also good. But confusing ones self is not! This is where I came up with the quote "Put In The Box What You Are Thinking". Just after thinking outside the box, don't ever forget to put those ideas in the box! This simply means that once you have thought of an idea, commit to it. Create a plan and orchestrate some procedures you will take to make it successful. Build the best foundations so that it will stay strong and growing for years to come.
What's next? If you are quite sure that you have constructed a solid foundation, you can again "think outside the box". There will be a lot of new opportunities. Don't overlap your interest. Just commit to every opportunities one at a time. :-)

Pursue Opportunities With A Clear Vision
Life is full of opportunities. When we talk business, opportunities may come up that we ignore or dismiss without thinking. Opportunities should always be accompanied with a vision. Without a vision, an opportunity will just remain as an ordinary idea that you will not act upon.
A Vision creates a picture based from the opportunity. When we talk about Construction Engineers, although they are skillful professionals in nature, they can't draw a construction plan without looking at the place where the physical building will be constructed. Engineers would not only need to look at the place but also needs to create a sketch with the use of measurements in its land area. It's the same thing with opportunities and vision. Opportunity in this case is the chance to create and construct a building wherein the vision is the plan and the picture that is imagined in the mind of the constructor, the engineer. Have I made it clearer? OPPORTUNITY WITHOUT VISION IS USELESS!
Now, there are certain circumstances where, there is opportunity along with a vision, but unfortunately it's not that clear. Have you ever seen a building or an establishment where the top floor is flat or has not been fully furnished? Let me just explain it to you. The main reason why the top is not fully furnished is that they decided to play it safe with it. They are not sure yet if there will be changes in the construction plan. If the number of floors will be increased for future purposes. This can be a wise move in certain circumstances sometimes....
When we talk now about business, vision is not enough, clear vision is a must! Before you pursue a business opportunity, don't play safe. Take risks if necessary. As you pursue an opportunity, always have a vision that the business will grow. Don't ever question yourself whether will it grow or not? Be positive and always tell yourself that the business will succeed in the future.
Let me give you a short equation I have learned:
Opportunity + Clear Vision = SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS!
